Tis’ the Season for Transition.

Central America to Asia. Nicaragua to the Philippines. Spanish to Tagalog. Team leader to Squad leader. Fear of transition to acceptance of change. Yahweh is paving the way. I have been blessed with the opportunity to lead our squad for this season. My co-leader Nick and I have been traveling around to love on and serve alongside our 3 teams within the squad. These 3 teams are split up into different locations serving in various ways.

The Children's Garden. It is a home for 20 boys that have previously been living on the streets. The ministry helps enable these boys to strive for a relationship with the Lord, while giving them means for a higher education and healthier lifestyle. The boys living at the Children's Garden along with the team that is staying there go out and continue to share love with the kids that are still on the streets. They spend time with boys at CICL: Children In Conflict with the Law, and girls at a prison for women. They also speak and share their testimonies at local concerts and churches.

Journey for Hope. The team that is staying there lives on somewhat of a rooftop that functions as a gym, church, kitchen, and place to sleep. The team goes out into a nearby community that is prone to frequent floods and many flies. The people that live there are beautiful and eager to hear more about Jesus. The team gets to partake in jewelry making once a week with women from the community so that they can sell it to make money to provide a source of income for their families. The main ministry there is for the kids that love sports in the community. They have a team, and get to play sports and share the gospel with others through fun, games, and nightly rooftop devotions.

K.I.M. Kids International Ministry. This team of all women is currently living at a newly purchased building through K.I.M. called the JAZ home They are helping prep to get the building ready to move 29 girls in that have previously been either abused or neglected. They are going to surprise the JAZ girls with their new beautiful home on Christmas day! These girls also help watch a newborn orphan baby, work in a nursery, volunteer at feedings, tutor kids in school, and arrange donations to give away for the christmas season.

I have been able to live at and experienced glimpses of all that the lord is doing in these places and people. I'm continuously in awe. With a pack on my back, dirt covered feet, never knowing where I will be or what tomorrow will hold; I would never change the change for the world.
